The shizznit

Yes these titles are completely random.

So I’m going to post the current plan or “roadmap” for RazorIRC here first instead of over at the wiki.

So on with it!
I’m going to release a public alpha / beta sometime this summer, along with the public alpha / beta of RazorIRC I’ll be launching the addons database along with both the online and offline tools to help addon developers get their bearings.   Since where going to be using an already existing language for the addons I’m pretty sure there will be no compatibility issues between RazorIRC versions, the issues may come from our XML GUI language that I plan on implementing for the addons to make like easier, it’ll loosely be based around Microsoft’s XAML language.

Sick again :(

Welp I’m sick again, and it’s worse this time…  Went out to work today, only was able to do 2 walk ways before having to come home to take my rescue inhaler, which I haven’t had to use in almost a decade… :|

I got to call her either tomorrow or the weekend, got to confirm that she’s coming to the wedding with me, and if she is she can’t cancel on me at the last minute, unless she wants Mike and Nichole on her ass lol, I doubt I’ll be going out with her this weekend since I’m sick and all…

Out with the old, In with the new

Well it’s that time of year, the first day of 09, ah so nice to have a fresh year once again, 2008 became way too stale.  2008 was a pretty good year in terms of me connecting with an old friend (the one affectionately known as ‘her’), I would have liked to spend more time with her in 2008, but I’ll take what I got.  I’m hoping for 2009 that I might take it to the next step (eg. seeing each other as boyfriend/girlfriend) and possibly beyond.

My resolution(s) for the year, to finish RazorIRC and ship a working product that I can be proud of, to start seeing her and possibly beyond (Hey one can dream), to stop being so anti-social (this’ll help with the previous) and to finally get my highschool diploma, though this last one isn’t that much of a priority at the moment.

Finally my biggest goal for the year will be to get quantumRadio’s replacement done (still no name… HELP FFS!) and to register it as a REAL and LEGAL media company. Read more

Well I lied

Well I lied, guess it wasn’t my last post for the year…  :)

I decided to write a custom content management system for Def-Defying, it shares code with Crystal engine (god that’s hasn’t been mentioned in a while…), it’s actually a “lite” version of Crystal engine, and it’ll be publicly released once Def-Defying is completed.  The “core” of Crystal Engine Lite will be merged into Crystal Engine once development has finally restarted on it, till then everyone will get a nice lightweight version.

Anyways onto what this post is really all about, looks like Sa.. her and I might be going out sometime this week :)   All is right in my world once again :)

Now something that I should have done earlier, the RazorIRC blog will now point/redirect here, since I use this for both personal and development posts it makes sense to me.  And since I’m the only one developing the software right now it only makes sense to do it.

Ugh…

Ugh…  I hate working on websites.  Yesterday I registered a new domain name for RazorIRC, it’s razorirc.com.  I’m starting work on the website for RazorIRC, it’s going to be written in Ruby on Rails, that’ll be fun…

Designing Def-Defying is going pretty well.  I’m just doing a basic design until he gets me the logo.
