escape from reality

Well it’s that time of year, the first day of 09, ah so nice to have a fresh year once again, 2008 became way too stale.  2008 was a pretty good year in terms of me connection with an old friend (the one affectionately known as ‘her’), I would have liked to spend more time with her in 2008, but I’ll take what I got.  I’m hoping for 2009 that I might take it to the next step (eg. seeing each other as boyfriend/girlfriend) and possibly beyond.

My resolution(s) for the year, to finish RazorIRC and ship a working product that I can be proud of, to start seeing her and possible beyond (Hey one can dream), to stop being so anti-social (this’ll help with the previous) and to finally get my highschool diploma, though this last one isn’t that much of a priority at the moment.

Finally my biggest goal for the year will be to get quantumRadio’s replacement done (still no name… HELP FFS!) and to register it as a REAL and LEGAL media company.

Ah finally post just about personal things… Yea… So, another Halloween, another fucking boring Halloween… I don’t hate Halloween, I just hate the boredom I feel on this day, heh, and I guess it would help if I knew more than 3 (Mike, Nichole and Feral) people in Georgetown… I wanted to go out with someone to a Halloween party but she never got back to me so… yea that plan is fucked… L I really like her too and I just don’t know how to tell her… Ah my life is a fucking pain at times…

Okay I said it was about personal things, well qR is part of my life… I still haven’t come up with a name for the new site… Seriously I need help here…

Also the blog has been renamed to “Escape from reality”. J

First things first, the reason the blog was down was because I fucked a line in the configuration file and never bothered to check it out.

Anyways moving on, I’m working on a new site this month, it’s for Def-Defying Car Audio; they’re a local Car Audio shop (I help out there when there’s a need). It’s not a huge web project but it’s enough for the time being. Next month I’m going to be working on another website, this one’s for a general contractor (Who happens to be my cousin :P), that’ll be a challenge…

Okay now onto quantumRadio, I’m closing it… That’s all you’re getting on that….

Ubuntu 8.04 was released today… Big woo, downloading it now. Going to be updating my test server to it. Also going to update my Dual boot.

I’m planning on bidding on a MacBook on eBay this weekend… The only problem is it has a minor defect, the casing is cracked… oh well, and I can always replace that.
