Oh yeah!

So I’m finally working at the Winner’s Distribution Center in Brampton, Ontario.  It’s enjoyable to say the least.  I work on the afternoon shift so I can still have a social life if I so choose.

So, I’m going after her again :/  It’s always worth it in the end.

I’m putting Crystal Engine, RazorIRC, Edge and Edge Server on hold for the time being.

The summer session, it’s coming don’t worry, it’ll take a little time but it will come.  I’m still coming up with the playlist and boy is it gonna be filled with a lot of summer songs, this should hold you out till the fall :) .  Since I plan on making the playlist so huge it’s going to be 2-4 sessions in length :P

On the design front for QR, well I’m gonna be doing the full design for the site by mid summer, it’ll take awhile for me to code the whole thing but it should be good when it’s done :)

Also we’re looking for volunteers at QR, please have a look at this post on QR…

Anyways It’s been a long time since I last posted but I hope to be posting more often now :P

Yay…

Wow, I got some of the things set up for how we’re going to be doing it on quantumRadio.  Just started uploading the sessions so I can add the new feeds (the feeds are set up differently now :( ) so just to warn everyone, the old feeds (quantumradio.net/qrsessions.xml and sessions/euro.xml) will no longer work.

It’ll be fun adding all the sessions back –.-, gonna have to look at the publish date for each session…  the feeds for the sessions will be category based, so since we have a euro and archive categories, they will provide the feeds, also there sub-categories of sessions so feeds will kinda be like /feed/sessions/euro and feed/sessions/archive :)

Also on top of the sessions we may also have some talk / news sessions.  One of the original plans was to have a hockey podcast, so that may happen :D

Cause you’re everywhere to me

Dammit, of course this would happen, I shut down quantumRadio and I want to do another session…  So I heard a song on the radio tonight that inspired me to do another session… qR is coming back, but don’t expect sessions to be released on a timely basis.  I’m also going to do the format a bit different from how we had it.

quantumRadio is now going to be a music related blog along with the sessions, there is NO timeframe for session releases.

So…?

Out with the old, In with the new

Well it’s that time of year, the first day of 09, ah so nice to have a fresh year once again, 2008 became way too stale.  2008 was a pretty good year in terms of me connecting with an old friend (the one affectionately known as ‘her’), I would have liked to spend more time with her in 2008, but I’ll take what I got.  I’m hoping for 2009 that I might take it to the next step (eg. seeing each other as boyfriend/girlfriend) and possibly beyond.

My resolution(s) for the year, to finish RazorIRC and ship a working product that I can be proud of, to start seeing her and possibly beyond (Hey one can dream), to stop being so anti-social (this’ll help with the previous) and to finally get my highschool diploma, though this last one isn’t that much of a priority at the moment.

Finally my biggest goal for the year will be to get quantumRadio’s replacement done (still no name… HELP FFS!) and to register it as a REAL and LEGAL media company. Read more
